I first came to Bardsley when I was 13. As a young person it gave me a safe place to hang out with my friends. When I was 17 I joined the team in a voluntary capacity and later became part of the employed team.  I’m now split across the work of Bardsley and Coffee Tots in my week.

Bardsley becomes family and friend to many Young people, often innocent victims of times of great need and stress. These young people are assisted and supported by a caring and dedicated team with years of experience and knowledge. Eric joined Bardsley to support staff and volunteers in further enhancing the lives of our young people and of those we are yet to meet. Eric has many years experience in groups working with young people and in Corporate Management in Health, Education and Commerce in UK and overseas.

Volunteers

Like all charities Bardsley Youth Project is dependent on a dedicated and committed team of volunteers. Our volunteers come from all different walks of life with a variety of skills and we wouldn’t survive without them. To be a Bardsley volunteer you just need to be prepared to give your time regularly, be good at making beverages and have plenty of patience. Contact us if you want to get involved.

I first came to Bardsley at 13. As a young man the workers at Bardsley helped me though a rocky school life, helped me get into sixth form and later training me in youth work. I started volunteering at bardsley at 18 then became part of the employed team.
