At Bardsley Youth Project, we're committed to making a difference in the lives of young people facing homelessness in Coventry. Our mission is deeply rooted in a set of core beliefs that guide us every day. We believe that true partnerships are built on shared values and a mutual commitment to making a positive impact. Our Core Beliefs:

1️⃣ No young person should face homelessness alone: We are dedicated to ensuring that no young person in Coventry goes through the challenges of homelessness without support and guidance.

2️⃣ Everyone deserves a safe, warm, comfortable, and permanent place to live: We are passionate about supporting young people to access stable, secure housing, giving them a strong foundation to rebuild their lives. For us this not only involves supporting them to access accomodation, but also helping young people quip and furnish their home.

3️⃣ Challenges like homelessness are rarely simple: We understand that homelessness is a complex issue. Our approach is holistic, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs to help young individuals break the cycle of homelessness.

4️⃣ Young people who face crisis situations like homelessness are just like other young people: We believe in treating every young person with respect, dignity, and providing them with opportunities to thrive, regardless of the obstacles they've encountered.

5️⃣ Young people who have experienced trauma: We recognize that traumatic experiences can lead to unique behavioural responses. Understanding these reactions is essential in offering the support needed for positive change.
