Mince Pie Talk in March? Bardsley Youth Project's Early Call for Christmas Support

bardsleyyouth

It might only be March, but Bardsley Youth Project is already thinking about Christmas – we know, we know, it's a bit like seeing mince pies in August! But in order to make sure we can bring festive cheer to young people facing homelessness and poverty in Coventry this Christmas, we have to start early! For the past three years, with the generous support of the public and local companies, we've been able to make the holiday season a little brighter for those we serve. To continue spreading joy we need to make an early call for Christmas support to ensure we can deliver Christmas.

Why Support Bardsley Youth Project This Christmas?

Christmas can be an isolating and challenging time for young people experiencing hardship. Many lack the family or social connections others rely on during the festive season. We aim to provide a sense of community and alleviate the financial pressures that this time of year can bring. Here's how we make a difference:

A Christmas Meal: We organise a special Christmas meal, offering young people a chance to celebrate and enjoy the festivities, fostering a sense of belonging and joy with others in similar situations.

Christmas Support Vouchers: We provide young people struggling financially with a voucher to help ease the burden of Christmas. This might allow them to buy a gift for their children, manage the increased cost of goods and food, or treat themselves to a small gift.

Benefits of Partnering with Bardsley Youth Project:

  • Positive Local PR: Bardsley Youth Project is committed to recognising our supporters. We regularly post about our partners' charitable deeds, tagging them and engaging in conversations on platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook. We also feature partners in our monthly newsletter, press releases and on our blog.

  • Enhanced Local CSR: By supporting our Christmas appeal, your company can make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable young people in Coventry. How would it feel to say your company bought Christmas to young people in Coventry who otherwise might not be able to celebrate and who would face isolation during the holiday period?

  • Create a local impact on a truly personal level: It's a meaningful way to provide vital support and create positive memories for young people when they need it most, to show young people in our community that they are valued and supported. It's a chance to offer hope and make a positive difference in the lives of young people actively working to overcome adversity.

Join our team in making a difference. Every young person deserves to feel cared about at Christmas, especially those facing hardship and isolation. Help us make this Christmas special. If you are interested in helping us fund all or part of this year's Christmas effort, please get in touch with rachel@bardsleyyouth.org

Please help us by sharing this appeal with your community.
