Maternity Cover - Engagement Worker 

• Start Date: 1st December 2025

• Hours: 37 hours p/week 

• (Monday to Friday 9.00 – 17.00 with some out of hours working may be required) 

• Salary: 26,772 pro rata 

• Annual Leave: 25 days, plus bank holidays 

About Bardsley Youth Project

Bardsley Youth Project seeks to support young people aged 16-25 who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness or vulnerably housed.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, creative person, ready to act as a mentor to our young people enabling them to realise their full potential, to overcome homelessness and in moving on to a successful adult life. 

As a talented communicator, you will use your natural ability to engage young people with an open and encouraging approach. You will have at least 2 years’ experience of working with young people in a relatable context.

You would be joining the organisation at an exciting time of our development as we expand the reach and level of support we deliver to young people. The role holder will be expected to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and adhere to our safeguarding policy.
