We're looking for an enthusiastic Communications & Fundraising Worker to join our small, friendly team at Bardsley Youth Project, helping us raise awareness, inspire supporters and make a real difference to young people experiencing homelessness in Coventry.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys getting stuck into creative projects and wants to develop their skills while working for a cause they genuinely care about.
What will you be doing?
No two days will look quite the same! You'll work closely with our Communications & Fundraising Co-ordinator on everything from creating engaging social media content and designing campaigns to writing newsletters, updating our website, telling powerful stories and building relationships with our wonderful community of supporters.
You'll have opportunities to get involved in digital marketing, community fundraising, content creation and developing the way we communicate our impact.
Who are we looking for?
We're particularly interested in someone who has a genuine passion for learning, brings fresh ideas to the table and takes pride in producing great work.
You'll be creative, organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks, while recognising when to ask questions or seek support.
An interest in the psychology behind effective communications would be a real bonus. Perhaps you've already started exploring SEO, answer engine optimisation (AEO), digital marketing or what makes people engage with content and act. We'd love someone who's excited to develop that knowledge and put it into practice!
You don't need years of professional experience or to have mastered every platform. Relevant experience from employment, education, volunteering, freelance work or personal projects is welcome. What matters is that you can demonstrate your skills, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and commitment to our work.

You would be joining the organisation at an exciting time of our development as we expand the reach and level of support we deliver with young people. The role holder will be expected to undertake an DBS check and adhere to our safeguarding policy.
